Learn how our TEAS Prep 1 course will prepare you for this exam by serving as an English class.
About the TEAS Prep 1 Course
The TEAS exam is a standardized admission test that evaluates the student’s reading, science, math, and English skills. This six-week course focuses on the reading and English language usage portions.
Students will learn about the different types of an argument in text, how to identify the topic sentences, and understand the author’s purpose. They will also dive into the construction of English spelling and vocabulary, as well as identify their learning and studying styles to effectively prepare for the exam when outside of class.
Lessons included are persuasive writing, the writing process, fact-checking, and much more. Prior to enrolling, you should have the requirements for admission to a nursing school completed.
To ensure our students feel confident going into the exam, this preparation course is hands-on and includes thought-provoking discussion questions, flashcards, practice tests, and videos. Once you’ve completed this course, master the mathematics and science portions with our TEAS Prep 2 class.
