Broward Community Schools are centered around making our students more knowledgeable about the world around them, whether it’s learning English as a Second Language or learning more about computer science courses. So today, we want to talk about the art of actually capturing the world around us: Photography. And of the seventeen different courses we offer both online and in person, you can be sure that Broward will provide you with a top-notch experience to broaden your horizons in this field.

Instruction for All Skill Levels

Staying true to Broward Schools’ philosophy to provide instruction at all levels, Introductory courses are incredibly useful for those wanting to jump in to the hobby and make something great. Whether it’s via digital mediums or photo manipulation, we offer primers on how to get in to every facet of the photography world, right down to turning your hobby into a paying gig or even a business with our Photography Suite course.

Improve Your Abilities

Maybe you’re already experienced in photography and want to take your skills to the next level. Well, courses like Mastering Your Digital SLR Camera, Photoshop Elements of the Digital Photographer II, and the Animal Lover Suite can give you the edge to add more tools to your toolbox and give you more versatility as an artist. All you need is six weeks, and you can become a better photographer to further your career. Our online bulletin boards for each class provide you with a way to communicate with teachers and students to help you out and communicate when collaboration is needed.

And if you’re looking for a great way to ease yourself into a new hobby, our self-paced courses make learning something new easy and fun. You get all the materials for the course; we just give you a deadline in which to complete the coursework.
